A Partner in Education

The Cade Educational Mission: New Concepts; Needed Resources.

Future Forward Education

With many schools lagging behind students technologically,  a museum’s learning environment provides opportunities to keep students motivated and engaged. The Cade Museum, which plans to employ a museum educator, will be an important provider of these resources to elementary and secondary grade levels.

The Virtual Museum

The Cade Museum is leading a pilot project in Gainesville to develop a virtual exhibit on the Brain Science of Creativity.  Partnering with the University of Florida's McKnight Brain Institute and Digital Worlds Institute, along with the Alachua County School System and Trendy Entertainment, the Museum aims to start the project in October 2010 and finish by January 2011.  The Brain Science of Creativity virtual exhibit will be available on-line for schools everywhere by mid-2011.   The Museum is currently seeking grants and other funding to support the pilot project and future virtual exhibits.
