Going Green

The creative design by GWWO Architects will be set in an historic park brought to life by new ponds, bike paths, natural greenery, and the newly renovated Depot Building. The Depot Park reclamation will replace contaminated soil with lakes, trails and gardens, transforming the site into an idyllic setting for bicycling, walking, birding and other family activities, becoming Gainesville's downtown "central park". As the Park’s anchor, the Museum will signal Gainesville’s transformation from an exporter of commodities, to an exporter of ideas.  For more information on what's happening in Gainesville, check out Gainesville Connect.
