Age Appropriate Activities
For the safety of our visitors, some activities are geared for different age groups.
Chaperones
Due to the hands-on, lab-focus of the museum, we require a minimum of one adult chaperone for every 10 children/youth to have the best experience. Chaperones are responsible for the behavior and safety of their group at all times.
Payment
Admission may be paid upon arrival. Groups under 10 will not be eligible for the group discount.
Arrival
Upon arrival, please send one person to the front desk to check your group in. A staff person will go to your group and provide a brief introduction to the Cade Museum.
Parking
The Cade Museum parking lot on South Main Street has two spaces for buses. These will be designated to the first two groups who have a confirmed reservation.
Lunch Accommodations
The Cade Museum does not sell food or drinks. Visitors may enjoy the surrounding Depot Park for lunch. Depot Park has a covered pavilion, a playground, and a walking trail. The Pop-A-Top General Store located on the park sells snacks and meal items. If a large group plans on purchasing lunch from Pop-A-Top, we recommend contacting them beforehand (352) 792-6685.
