Facilitated Group Visits

Explore More facilitated experiences are available Thursday-Sunday, 10am-4pm, and are great for all ages! Explore More visits must be booked in advance to ensure access for your group and require a deposit to secure the reservation.

*The second floor will only be open to guests on Saturdays and Sundays from January 18, 2024 – March 9, 2024. All museum activities will be moved to the first floor during this time.

We believe that every student has an innate capacity for exceptional creativity and can become a future inventor. Our field trips spark wonder and link school-based learning with the world around each child. Field trips are designed to complement your classroom curriculum, and diverse themes enable you to engage your students with the Cade again and again for continually layered educational experiences.

Students will be inspired to think like inventors as they apply core science concepts:

  • Inventivity Framework – Exploring core content that correlates with CPALMS and NGSS Standards.
  • Invention – Learning through the lens of invention and innovation, while exploring the lives of visionaries whose inventions have changed our world and continue to improve it.​
  • Exploration – Sparking creativity through hands-on projects and lasting “Make & Takes.”

Lab & Explore Popular

  • 1-hour lab experience and 1-hour facilitated museum immersion
  • Students will engage in a 1-hour lab experience in the Creativity Lab and embark on 1 hour of facilitated museum immersion to interact with the Cade Museum exhibits through educator-guided activities and experiments.
    • The second floor will will only be open to guests on Saturdays and Sundays from January 18, 2024 – March 9, 2024. All museum activities will be moved to the first floor during this time.
  • Thursday and Friday *SOLD OUT*
  • 80 students maximum (14 minimum)
  • $15 per student – deposit required

  • ​​Shedding Light on Electrical Circuits (3rd – 5th)​
  • Code at the Cade: Indi the Robot (K – 2nd)
  • The Small Stuff: Elements, Atoms, and Molecules (6th – 8th)

Explore More

  • 2-hour facilitated museum immersion
  • Students will embark on 2 hours of facilitated museum immersion to interact with the Cade Museum exhibits through educator-guided activities and experiments.
    • The second floor will will only be open to guests on Saturdays and Sundays from January 18, 2024 – March 9, 2024. All museum activities will be moved to the first floor during this time.
  • Thursday and Friday *SOLD OUT*
    • Explore More Field Trips will not be available on Thursdays from January 18th, 2024- March 8th, 2024.
  • 80 students maximum – ​Large groups will be divided into smaller groups of up to 20 students each, to ensure all students have an optimal learning experience.
  • $10 per student – deposit required

Lab & Learn

Students will engage in a 2-hour lab experience in the Creativity Lab.
