Second Place: EcoaTEX of Athens, Ga. for its sustainable, nanoparticle textile dyeing process that will save enormous amounts of water

Third Place: Aurita of Gainesville, Fla. for its three-dimensional tool to help researchers defeat cancer

Fourth Place: Versatile Sensor Technology of Gainesville, Fla. for its rapid Covid test that uses a handheld electrical sensor to detect COVID in saliva. Versatile Sensor Technology also won the People’s Choice Award.

The 10th Anniversary Cade Prize was awarded at the Cade Museum's X Inventivity Bash. X Inventivity Bash celebrated the prolific creativity & inventiveness of the early Greek & Roman cultures. Many of today’s inventions and conveniences trace back to these innovative periods. These cultures also celebrated the Fibonacci sequence through art and architecture and - like the Cade Museum - many of their greatest architectural structures were designed utilizing the Fibonacci sequence. X Inventivity Bash took place on May 18th, 2019 at the Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention.

Rain Neuromorphics from Gainesville, Florida has created a microchip inspired by the parallel processing we see in biological brains. The chip dramatically speeds up Artificial Intelligence processing and makes it cheaper at the same time.
