Cade Museum to Temporarily Close Amid COVID-19 Concerns
Experience the Cade at home with educational videos and downloadable STEAM content coming soon

Gainesville, Florida, March 17, 2020 – The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention will be temporarily closed in response to recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control related to concerns around COVID-19. Additionally, spring break camps, and scheduled events are also canceled through March 31, 2020.

With the health of our visitors, staff and volunteers as a top priority, the Cade Museum will continue to actively monitor developments and will proceed with enhanced cleaning protocol.
 
Beginning next week, the museum will offer engaging educational video and downloadable content to bring The Cade experience into your home. Please check our website and social media for postings regarding this new STEAM content. In 2004, Dr. James Robert Cade and his family established the Cade Museum Foundation to build the Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention in Gainesville, Florida.
