Gainesville, Florida, May 28, 2020 – The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention will reopen on Friday, June 5th, with a re-envisioned Cade Museum experience. Since guest safety and enjoyment remain our top priorities, The Cade will initially be open on Fridays and Saturdays for limited-capacity experiential tours. A talented team of Cade educators will lead tours, and tickets can be purchased at CadeMuseum.org (free for Cade Members - advance registration recommended).
 
“More than 50,000 parents and children have continued to interact with the museum, during its closure, through our “Cade at Home” online learning platform, and we are thrilled to reopen our doors to the entire community,” said Stephanie Bailes, Executive Director of the Cade Museum.
 
In addition to maintaining current social distancing standards, our goal is to provide the most engaging Cade Museum experience within an environment that exceeds safety standards. The Cade Museum celebrates invention and is proud to partner with Violet Defense, Orlando-based creators of patented, ultraviolet disinfectant devices that eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. “We are excited to be partnering with The Cade Museum to help protect their guests and staff. It is our mission to leverage our technology to help protect people against germs in all of the places they live, work, play, and learn every day,” said Terrance Berland, CEO of Violet Defense.
